A week in Dublin - we had great craic !
On Tuesday, September 30th, our class set off on our long-awaited trip to Ireland. After a smooth journey, we arrived in Dun Laoghaire, where our host families warmly welcomed us. Our first full day started with English lessons at the language school, followed by a Dublin Orientation Tour in the afternoon. We really enjoyed exploring the city and experiencing its lively atmosphere. On Friday, we visited the EPIC Emigration Museum, which gave us fascinating insights into Ireland’s history, and in the evening, we went bowling, which was great fun for everyone.
The weekend was all about nature and adventure. We visited Glendalough, the Powerscourt Gardens, and hiked the Howth Cliff Walk, where Storm Amy nearly blew us away. Despite the wind and rain, we had an amazing time together. On Sunday evening, we even took part in a traditional Irish dance class, which was a perfect ending to our trip. Tired but happy, we returned home to Linz on Tuesday, October 7th, full of wonderful memories and grateful for this unforgettable experience.
